In just a couple of days I leave for the Romantic Times con in Kansas City, and I couldn’t be more excited! Last year I had a blast. So many readers in one place, such great organization, and so author-friendly. I’m still in awe over the way shipping lost a box of books I was supposed to give away at a panel, and the RT volunteers went all over the place trying to help me get it back. Those folks kick ass.
It is totally on my list of cons to attend every year if I can. Right now cons far from home are tricky, but I do try to get to a couple a year. The Liberty States con in New Jersey will hopefully be another annual one for me since it’s close by, as well as the Baltimore and Frederick book festivals.

And hey! Tuesday’s Cinema event and will include tweeting (#RTMOVIESLAM) and facebooking for those who can’t attend in person. Wednesday’s Vampires to Die For is a game-show style panel with lots of prizes, plus the first 30 in line get goody bags!
I’ll also be at the e-book fair on Thursday and the Giant book fair on Saturday. The rest of the time I’ll probably around the hotel hanging out. There are some fabulous panels I want to hit, and lots of people to hug.
