Hunter by Night release day!

HBN_FB4bI’m so relieved and excited about Hunter by Night’s release I could ugly-cry. I think release is a good word, because you put so much work into writing, re-writing, and then editing and polishing a book before it finally gets out in the world, that to finally see it in the light of day does take a huge weight off.

It’s a big deal, and it’s something worth of celebration. This particular book is special to me, because Lee and Alexia have been waiting so long for their HEA, and because I’m wrapping up a series I love so much. So I wanted to do an extra awesome prize giveaway, something to celebrate past, present, and future.

Past: I stopped reading romance for a long time. When I started again, I was drawn to vampires, and it was Lara Adrian and JR Ward that made me fall in love with romance again. So much that I didn’t want to read it, but write my own.

Present: The Chronicles of Yavn and Hunter by Night would be my present. That probably goes without saying. 🙂

Future: There’s a lot of talk about paranormal being dead. About vampires being dead. Well I’m hear to tell you the genre is alive and well and as hot as ever. So long as authors keep putting new twists on the mythology there will be readers to soak up the books. Also, while I was writing vampires I wan’t reading vampires. Now I can again. I recently picked up fellow Paranormal Unbounder Amber Belldene’s Blood Vine, and totally fell in love with the intelligent writing and rich worldbuilding.

In celebration of Hunter by Night’s release, I want to share these things with you.

New year, new sales and giveaways

princeofpowerWebsm

Today only (I’m pretty sure it’s today only) – 1/4 – Amazon and B&N have Prince of Power on sale for $1.99 in ebook!  Also, Amazon still has King of Darkness on sale for $2.99. More exciting than that? You can currently pre-order the paperback of Hunter by Night for $4.29, which is a decent coupla bucks off the cover price. And I’m not an expert on these things, but I’m pretty sure they have a guarantee that the lowest price is the one you get, so if the price drops after you pre-order, you pay the lowest price.

There’s still time to request an advanced review copy of my upcoming contemporary romance, One Week. If you’re a blogger / reviewer and would like a review copy, just fill out this form, and I’ll have a copy to you shortly. Thank you in advance for your interest in One Week!

There’s ONE DAY left to enter Tes Hilaire’s 12 Days of Giveaways! I’m giving away a signed copy of Prince of Power, and there’s an e-reader and many other awesome prizes. Check it out, here.

Favorite Firsts, Hunter by Night, and a GIVEAWAY!

For everyone who has asked about Lee’s book, the manuscript for Hunter by Night is due to my editor on… OHFUCKMERUNNING Friday! Cross your fingers and toes, people! My critique buddies tell me it’s the strongest thing I’ve written, and I sincerely hope you all agree. I love, love Lee and Alexia. Something about those two really work with my Muse’s mojo. 🙂 (Gotta tell you though, I’ve already fleshed out the plot for book 4, and that hero has my muse purring like a kitten. It’s a tough contest) The release date for Hunter by Night  is scheduled for January 2014. I know, seems like a looong way. There’s lots to be done between then and now. Like sexy cover art. While you’ve got those fingers and toes crossed, let’s say a prayer for some uber sexy cover art!

Meanwhile… I am SO flattered to announce that the Guilty Indulgence Romance Review site has chosen King of Darkness as this month’s book club read! To celebrate I shared a post about some of my favorite firsts, stop by and leave a comment and you’ll be entered to win a copy of Prince of Power! (contest ends 3.1)
