Deal alert! My debut novel, King of Darkness, is currently on sale in ebook at B&N, Amazon, Kobo Books, and iTunes for only $1.99! And if you’re a member of the Discover a New Love digital book club you can grab King of Darkness right now for only $1.49!
Sooo! Books Make Me Happy Reviews (Host of the Olde City New Blood Paranormal Con–registration ends soon, will I see you at the ghost tour?) is doing an Out of The Box Reading Challenge for 2013!!
I rarely do reading challenges because as it’s just hard to find time to read, and I tend to read in fits and starts. I may read nothing for months and then spend the week in bed with the flu, blasting my way through a dozen books. My time is limited, but really, the best thing for an author is to read outside of our comfort zone, it’s a great way for our craft to grow. We absorb new technique, structure, and language by reading a variety of authors. So imma try. Who knows? You can get more info (and how to enter to win the big box o’ prizes) on the Books Make Me Happy Blog, but here’s the quicky category list.
There we go! What do you think you’re going to read? Think you can go the distance? Can I? Any of my readers who finish the challenge, email me at the end of the year, there’ll be something fun from me in it for ya.
Happy 2013, everyone! This week marks the official kickoff of my Prince of Power blog tour! Anton and Tyra officially hit shelves and e-readers on January 8th, and the virtual blog tour is ON. Lotsa fabulous giveaways, and I shall attempt to keep you apprised of where I will be and when I will be there. Are you following me on Facebook and the Twitters? I announce the occasional special contest there, as well.
Oh. Awesome news. Right now, get King of Darkness in ebook at B&N, Amazon, and iTunes for only $1.99!
K! So here we have the list of guest blog / giveaway stops!
Also, please be sure to swing by on January 16th, when I will be swapping blogs posts with best-selling author Caridad Pineiro, who is doing a wonderful fundraiser for the Jersey Shore.
Wanna check out the new Prince of Power trailer? See it here (many thanks to Rachel Firasek for the awesome trailer):
Hey look, that kinda rhymed! And hunky Santa guy is back!
Okay, so I did a little festive pre-blog tour kickoff with the lovely, talented, and super awesome Tes Hilaire, and we have a couple of
great pre-Christmas giveaways still going on, which I have gathered together for you in a tidy little bundle:
While you’re at GraveTells, Tes and I are both up for a couple of Readers Choice Awards, if you feel up to casting a vote for one or both of us that would be most kind of you.
For another chance to win books from Tes and I, stop by Rabid Reads for Holiday Foreplay! We’re talking resolutions and bantering with our characters! Contest ends 12/31.
Jillian over at Read-Love-Blog wrote a really awesome review of Prince of Power, and is also doing a spotlight on her blog right now with an excerpt and a signed ARC giveaway. Contest ends 12/29.
The official release date for Prince of Power is 1/8 (although B&N and WalMart.com show is as already available) so there will of course be more celebratory awesomeness to come. So stay tuned!
And have a blessed and merry Christmas. Hug your loved ones tight, and drink the nog until you pass out. Wishing you all the best!
